Hedge Fund Business Development Coordinator

Leading Chicago hedge fund seeks a dynamic professional with strong personal, sales, and negotiation skills to help successfully expand and manage our growing network of security brokers and placement agents. This position is extremely intregal to the company?s long term growth and success and will work directly with Senior Business Development Manager to help maximize transaction flow and analyze potential portfolio companies.  The fund invests primarily in micro cap public companies operating in most major sectors including alternative energy, homeland security, technology, biotech, health care, telecom and gas and oil.

Responsibilities include:

 

?  Assisting Senior Business Development Manager with the growth and management of the funds extensive broker network.

?  Assisting Senior Business Development Manager in all aspects of the investment analysis, selection, and closing process

?  Basic financial analysis

?  Involvement in investment decision making process
