Help Desk Associate

Help Desk Associate Spherion, in conjunction with one of the world's global financial institutions is hiring a Help Desk Associate to work in New York City.

Primary Responsibilities:

?

???????? Providing customer support via phone, email or fax in regards to technical, functional and operational issues.

???????? Properly documenting call histories and resolutions.

???????? Investigating and resolving issues quickly; escalating to the next level when necessary.

???????? Planning and executing training, installations and testing.

?

Required Experience:

?

???????? Minimum of 2 years in a help desk role.

???????? Proven success in a fast past environment where quick resolutions are determined.

???????? Experience supporting individuals in the financial industry.

???????? Fluency in Spanish and English for daily interactions.

???????? Excellent proficiency with Windows 2000/XP, NT and MS Office

???????? Knowledge of supporting tools such as Remedy, Mercury TestDirector, ACDs, etc.

???????? Familiarity with Internet applications, terminology and architecture.

???????? BA degree in Engineering or Information Technology and/or Economics / Finance or comparable qualification.

???????? Professional communicator with all levels of associates and customers including expressing business and IT terminology clearly.

???????? Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

???????? Good organizational and relationship management skills

???????? Self-driven and highly motivated.

???????? Demonstration of problem solving and analytical skills.

???????? Excellent team player, yet able to work independently.

?

Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
