About the Opportunity Provide leadership, training and supervision of High Risk/Bankruptcy personnel to ensure that CNH is able to obtain the most cost effective and successful results through all legal actions initiated and bankruptcy account management.
Responsibilities
? Review and approve potential legal and/or bankruptcy assignments prior to assignment to the Law Department for legal representation.
? Provide training as needed for High Risk/Bankruptcy Analyst to ensure proper legal actions are taken to best protect CNH?s assets.
? Review High Risk/Bankruptcy Analyst queues to ensure that timely follow-up is maintained and appropriate legal actions taken and provide appropriate feedback on performance.
? Interact directly with Local Counsel and Law Department as appropriate to provide account updates and to resolve complex issues.
? Follow for updated changes in the legal community regarding laws that would affect CNH and ensure the High Risk/BK Analysts are properly trained in these matters.
? Prepare reports for management as required.
? Keep upper management informed of progress with portfolio as requested.
? Maintain personnel records and vacation schedules as needed.
? Work assigned accounts in queue, as needed, to ensure the most cost effective resolution, while maximizing recoveries.
Qualifications
? Knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code, bankruptcy law and legal proceedings, legal documentation review and the commercial finance industry.
? Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management and paralegal experience preferred.
? Minimum 3 ? 5 years collections or related experience required, including 1 ? 2 years of demonstrated success in deficiency, legal, or bankruptcy collections or related field
? Demonstrated strong leadership abilities and aptitude to progress to higher-level management positions within organization.
? Demonstration of strong analytical skills for fact-based decision-making
? Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills.
? Demonstration of organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
? Ability to work well with interdependent departments.
? Ability to use internet for court docket information (PACER and Lexis), customer information, as well as collateral value information.
? Working knowledge or Alltel, DSI, and FDR collections systems.
? Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Access. Working knowledge of Feith document imaging software.
