Responsibilities:Respond to participant inquiries via telephone and electronic mail on topics such as ATS and Internet, product and service features, loans, address changes and publications. Handle allocation change and transfer requests from participants, and their legal and authorized representative while explaining all applicable policies. Research and accurately process potential duplicate or otherwise erroneous ATS and Internet transactions. Process switches from annuity unit monthly revaluation to annual revaluation and handle IA payment inquiries. Explain applicable policies for pre and post retirement transfers.

Ability to successfully complete required training program for the position. Ability to obtain NASD Series 6 & 63 registrations within 6 months of hire. Understanding of TIAA-CREF products and services. Solid understanding of the TIAA-CREF organizational structure and ability to use our mainframe, web-based and desk top applications to access and maintain individual participant information. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Bachelors degree or 1-3 years of related work experience is preferred. This position is subject to the shift selection process.? The ATS Phone Center's hours are 8am to 8pm EST, Monday through Friday and Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
