The inside Retail Loan Consultants works with consumers.
Analyze borrower's scenario and suggest the best loan program The Mortgage Store has to offer. Educate consumers on the various products and programs in The Mortgage Store's portfolio.
Out-bound calls
Pipeline management
Price prospective loans
Keep track of all new quotes and follow up for possible submission
Work closely with operations team to ensure files to move quickly and smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus (1-2) years mortgage industry experience with some exposure/experience working with retail loans.
Thorough knowledge of the wholesale mortgage industry to include understanding underwriting matrixes, underwriting guidelines, appraisal reviews, and pricing options.
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong communication and presentation ability
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and organizational proficiency
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress, deadline-driven environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, scientific and technical journals, financial reports, legal documents, business periodicals, and government regulations.
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees, management and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and business math.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
