Are you looking for the opportunity to manage and grow a team of client service representatives who are vital to the success of a wholesale branch? GREENPOINT MORTGAGE, the 5th largest Wholesale Mortgage Lender in the country, is actively recruiting an Inside Sales Manager in its established wholesale branch in Stamford.

In this highly visible position you will be the right hand to the Branch Sales Manager of a successful wholesale branch and oversee a team of inside sales reps to market and close mortgage loans to an established broker base. GreenPoint Mortgage is known for its signature Alt-A/No Doc loans and other competitive products, including commercial and correspondent loans. The success of this position relies heavily on your proactive approach to monitoring a growing sales pipeline and keeping your pulse on expiring rate locks, suspensions and other opportunities for your team to close loans. Your management skills will be utilized as you train and coach your team on understanding how to work through loan scenarios with account executives and Brokers. Most importantly, the success of this position relies on your ability to deliver and maintain a customer service approach in your day-to-day communication with both internal customers and mortgage brokers. This position works in partnership with an onsite underwriting department and operations staff.

Essential Skills:
Requirements

Ability to manage and mentor a team of inside sales representatives to meet the needs of a fast paced and progressive mortgage company. Excellent use of time management and proactive in your approach to delegating tasks.

Minimum two years knowledge of mortgage lending laws, underwriting guidelines and escrow/title practices in order to make common sense loan decisions.

Proven ability to successfully manage a pipeline of loans.
Background in business and financial services a plus along with ability to understand complex mathematical formulas

Experience in building successful business relationships and providing top-notch customer service to Brokers, Account Executives and Operational staff on a company wide basis.
