Internal Control Analyst

Job Responsibilities:


Associate in an internal control function in GMI Finance with responsibilities including:Interact daily with Business Unit Controllers to guide them through the internal, global trading book application and assist with general queries. Ensure permissions and access are granted to the respective controllers and removed when no longer required.Review and approve new book requests on a timely basis.Facilitate book?opening process by liaising with Finance, Risk and Technology when necessary.Monitor daily control reports and follow-up on exceptions until resolution to ensure data integrity of the trading book application.Assist in quarterly and semi-annual user confirmation process.Assist in UAT testing related to enhancements and quarterly trading book application releases.Participate in ad-hoc projects geared to improve data quality as well as to further integrate BookMap with the downstream Finance systems.Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree (Accounting or business related)2-4 yrs experience in the financial services industry.Attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and perform efficiently.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
