 Summary

The Internal Sales Manager?s overall responsibility is to create and sustain a top performing sales environment operating at the highest level of integrity and compliance.  This will be accomplished through the consistent development of highly qualified and motivated Internal Salespeople.

 Job Responsibilities/DutiesTraining Internal Salespeople through the utilization of a structured training program.Serve as a resource to the Sales Desk while acting as a liaison with various departments.Provide operational and sales support, sales coaching and motivation to their teams.  This process will include building sales presentations and teaching territory management skills. Develop associates for successful career advancement.  Provide periodic development reviews for Internal Salespeople that evaluate performance objective and core competencies.  Monitor sales calls to observe Internal Salespeople?s demeanor, technical accuracy, sales ability, appointment quality, compliance and adherence to company policies.Perform miscellaneous special tactical and strategic projects as assigned by management.

Position RequirementsBachelor?s Degree in a business related field and 3-5 years of equivalent business experience preferred.Must be NASD Series 6 licensed.  It will be required to obtain the NASD Series 26 license within 90 days if not currently licensed. Strong knowledge of the financial services industry.Ability to develop staff through training, guidance, feedback and support.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to conduct a variety of sales and non-sales related training modules and deliver presentations.Ability to define, set, implement and monitor procedures.Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills.Needs to have the ability to prioritize while managing multi-tasks.Must be a detail-oriented, well-organized self-starter with high energy and creativity and ability to adapt to change in a positive manner. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.  Will be working within a general office environment.
