Internal Sales Representative
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager and Sr. Vice President, the candidate is a member of the Internal Sales Team responsible for delivering strategic marketing initiatives and coordination of service offer to financial advisors. Member will be responsible for assisting External Wholesalers with territory maintenance and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Manage corporate relationship with associated advisors.
? Assist External Wholesaler in all aspects of territory maintenance and development
? Identify sales & marketing issues and assist in problem solving.
Educate advisors on the use of proprietary software, marketing materials and service offer.
? To ?own? each project and monitor it through completion.
? Coordinate activities of top advisors with External Wholesaler.
? Track and monitor sales stats and current issues by advisor including recruitment of new advisors.
? Prioritize work requests to ensure that established turnaround time
requirements are achieved or exceeded.
? Identify key competitive pressures and issues relating to advisors and Loring
Ward Advisor Services.
? Work on client proposals & portfolio analysis through Morningstar software.
? Heavy inbound & outbound phone contact.
? Administrative, clerical and data entry.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience
? 2 years experience in the financial service industry preferred.
? Experience in an internal sales & support environment.
? Series 6 or 7 ? within 6 months of hire.
? Experience with outbound phone sales support preferred.
? College or equivalent degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes
? Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel mandatory.
? High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
? Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
? Good verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and as a team member.
