Internal Wholesaler - Broker-Dealer Channel

Rydex Investments has an opportunity for an Internal Wholesaler within the Broker-Dealer Sales Channel.  The office is located in Schaumburg, IL.

 

Duties include:

 

?Develop new leads and service/prospect existing client base through daily outbound calling. Generate qualified leads for the BD Sales Channel. The Internal Investment Consultant is responsible for searching out new prospects, including cold calling and adding leads to the database for sales and marketing purposes. Send appropriate materials to each new prospected registered representative.

?Coordinate all aspects of territory management with Outside Wholesaler/Regional Vice-President (RVP). Create and schedule qualified appointments for the RVP in assigned territory. Assist the RVP in all sales and marketing related initiatives including assisting in conference calls, due diligence meetings, sales campaigns and provide general sales support. Infrequent travel with the RVP for sales appointments.

?Provide follow-up to the Regional Vice President for client meetings, prospected reps, direct mail responses, web site inquiries, and cold call initiatives. Work with RVP to generate an updated pipeline of all top prospects, new clients and flow accounts on a weekly basis.

?Database (Pivotal) responsibilities include; profile and qualify leads and prospects; add/delete fields as needed, and maintain Database - address, phone number, e-mail changes, profile information, etc. Must update d/base with all information gathered from prospect and client conversations.

?Assist in product rollout marketing strategy - coordinate mailings, write letters, write e-mail communications, produce distribution lists and coordinate conference calls.

?Other duties as necessary include answering of shareholder telephone calls and taking shareholder trades.

 

Qualifications include:

 

?Two years of sales experience.

?General knowledge and or past experience in selling to the RIA or Institutional marketplace.

?Series 7 & 63 Licenses.

?Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Software including Excel and Word.
