Investment Operations Associate

Job Summary:

Asset management operation for a large pool of private capital is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Operations team as an Investment Operations Associate.  The Operations team of six, works closely with the investment, accounting and performance staff.  The associate will be trained in all aspects of investment and trade operations.  This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with investments and would like to expand their knowledge of a wide variety of securities and financial instruments.  The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm and a desire to learn while developing their career in the investment management industry, particularly in the area of operations.  This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team at a terrific company!

 

 

 Job duties include (but not limited to):

? Trade confirmation and settlement.

? Internal investment reporting.

? Process improvement.

? Account reconciliation.

? Swap trade settlement and tracking.

? Collateral tracking and reconciliation.

 Qualifications:4 year degree (Accounting, Finance or Economics degree preferred).Advanced Excel skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Problem solving skills and detail orientation.Involvement in CFA program preferred. Strong interest in financial markets and investments.Basic knowledge of derivative instruments preferred. Must have been able to work both independently and in small groups in past experiences. Must have shown initiative in past experiences. Prior investment operations (back office) experience a plus.
