Investment Real Estate Underwriter

Our client, a professional lending services firm that specializes in making long term loans for a variety of business and commercial purposes seeks dynamic individual for Richmond-based business development group.  Working closely with sales and development staff, the candidate will evaluate financing requests, prepare detailed financial analysis, and present findings to management.  The candidate must be skilled in financial analysis, including:  cash flow, balance sheet, financial ratio, industry, etc.  The candidate must also demonstrate aptitude for group and client interaction, and work well independently and as part of a team.

Environment is professional, fast-paced and rewarding.  Requirements include:

? B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
? Formal bank credit training preferred
? 5 ? 7 years of working experience in underwriting income-producing properties, such as retail strips and apartment complexes
? Proficiency with Argus software (i.e., commercial real estate modeling software used to evaluate a property's cash flow)
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Pluses: Appraisal Experience
Someone from an accounting firm; from their real estate advisory services department
