LOSS MITIGATION MANAGER

We have seven fully staffed operations centers - two in Florida, three in California, one in Kansas, and one in Illinois and over 45 retail branch offices nationwide.

We are looking for a proven and organized manager to run our loss mitigation department. This individual will:

* Develop and implement collection, foreclosure, loss mitigation, real estate acquisition, and claims procedures for mortgage and HELOC servicing, ensuring that they are carried out according to established policies.
* Identify areas needing improvement and implement changes and operational improvements to enable department to maximize efficiency, quality, and customer service.
* Approving and monitoring all phases of loss mitigation for first trust deed loans involving bankruptcy, legal action, foreclosure, modifications, deferments, deeds in lieu of foreclosure request and request for discounted payoffs to ensure proper follow-up is maintained and timely resolution of the delinquent loan.REQUIREMENTS* A minimum of five plus years in mortgage default and/or mortgage servicing experience.
* Three years in a managerial capacity in a subprime organization.
* Lead/coach teams in the effort to attain goals and develop employees
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Must have strong computer skills, and be proficient in Microsoft applications.
