Lead Payroll Technician

The Unified Port of San Diego is currently accepting applications and/or resumes for the position of Lead Payroll Technician.  This position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).

 

Minimum requirements for this position is graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience in performing financial or statistical recordkeeping, at least three of which was performing payroll-related duties, including review of timecards, processing of payroll and knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.  A minimum of one year at the level of Payroll Technician at the Port is preferred. Certified Payroll Professional preferred. Working knowledge of SAP payroll strongly desired but not required.

Salary Range $34,248 ? $51,372
