Job Title:  Licensed Sales Assistant

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Administrative responsibilities for approximately 300 accounts and 200 clients.Generate and organize reports as well as investment and insurance applications for preparation of client meetings.Maintain client database, tracking, client account and transaction information into data systems.Maintain files, paperless storage and any necessary compliance documentation for client group.Process cash and security transactions.Resolve problems or issues brought forth by the broker dealer by working with appropriate internal departments.Keep abreast of all systems enhancements and procedural updates.Provide back-up support for other administrative and operational staff as required.Provide back-up support for off site representatives as required.Participate in special projects as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

 3-5 years experience in an administrative roleSeries 7 licensed, Series 24 licensed preferred or ability to obtain in first 3 months of employment.Familiar with numerous investment/insurance company applications, and brokerage account paperwork.  Strong paperwork skills a MUST.Intermediate level working with MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiar with investment analysis and financial planning software.Strong commitment and dedication to client serviceExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsMust be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to balance and prioritize many tasks.General understanding of brokerage operations and basic industry knowledge
