Licensed Sales Managers , Financial Services

 

Our client company is a leading insurance and financial services organization.  The Licensed Sales Managers support  Distribution, Sales and Service of Insurance products.  Working with Agencies with selection and consulting to increase sales, generate profitable premium growth and increase market share in Financial Services and Property and Casualty areas.  The scope of this job is to learn about company distribution practices and demonstrate the application and mastery of sales and leadership concepts that will lead the incumbent to a distribution leadership position as deemed appropriate. The length of the distribution leadership development phase is based on the MDAs prior experience, development plan and market availability.  This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Education Phase: Attend and successfully complete Pre-National Sales Education Center, National Sales Education Center, and Post-National Sales Education Center. Regional Office rotation, learn the office support department structure and programs.

2. Selling Phase: Satisfy all licensing requirements including Property and Casualty, Life and Health, Series 6 and/or 63, Variable Authority if required by the state, and other licenses that are deemed necessary. Field sales assignment, work out of an existing Allstate Agency selling and servicing Allstate products.

3. Mini market assignment, observe and participate in leading a market through on the job training. Will assist with Market development as well as installation of new agencies.

4. Sales Leadership development workshop, participate in an advance Home Office workshop to develop consulting skills.

Experience Required:

-3+ years of sales management experience

-Background in the Insurance and/or Financial industries preferred

-Licensing requirements include Property and Casualty, Life and Health, Series 6, 26, 51 or 53, and 63  (able to complete while in education phase and prior to ?Mini-Market? phase)

 

Computer Proficiency:

-Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet
