Loan Coordinator

The Loan Coordinator is responsible for developing relationships with brokers to increase mortgage originations.? This inside position will contact brokers by telephone to increase the Company?s current broker source list as well as utilize established internal source lists to expand the Wholesale business. Will serve as a liaison for coordination/creation of loan packages between Broker sources, Texas MOC and the Wholesale Lending Credit Analyst. May assist in pre-underwriting/qualifying loan requests and credit conditions.?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following:

?

Develop relationships with Brokers to increase Wholesale Lending mortgage business, through making out-bound calls and responding to in-bound inquiries.??

?

Expand internal source list/database of Brokers through marketing Company?s service initiatives

?

Coordinate with Credit Analysts to gain proper origination documentation and to set closing dates

?

Perform responsibilities in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

?

Bachelor?s Degree in a business-related discipline with 2-3 years of mortgage/indirect lending experience preferred.? A High School Diploma with appropriate experience will be considered.

?

Computer Skills: ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

?

Must be computer literate, and able to learn internal system operations.? Must also have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Other Skills and Abilities:

?

Familiarity with standard real estate documents.

?

Ability and willingness to spend 70% - 80% of workday on the phone generating new business relationships and cultivating existing relationships.

?

Ability to quickly learn and understand Focus and Polaris.

?

Must be able to analyze credit reports and applications, and determine different levels of risk associated with each credit application.

?

Must be able to calculate borrower debt ratios, housing ratios, loan-to-value and other standard real estate metrics data.

?

Excellent customer service and communication skills for assisting customers. ?

?

Proper telephone etiquette and professional demeanor
