LOAN DISB. ANALYST
Department: Loan Disb. & Funding

Reports to: Director of Loan Disbursements & Funding
Responsibilities:

o Responsible for all Loan Disbursement Reporting for group (daily, weekly, monthly)
o Responsible for download and reconciliation of multiple daily disbursement Excel files
o Responsible for testing with complete documentation requirements for all new client implementations (incl. Program Year); coordinate the testing process and adhere to project plan deadlines
o Responsible for testing implementations of all corporate initiatives/prioritization requests; assist in UAT and implementation.
o Maintain a quarterly review process (similar to Sarbanes Oxley requirements) for both groups; maintain documentation of records and adherence to quarterly deadlines; conduct periodic audits of control objectives (i.e. - privacy policy, etc.)
o Maintain and update policies and procedures for the Loan Funding & Disbursement groups.
o Establish appropriate metrics for both groups in order to determine processing time for core functions
o Suggest process changes and workflow improvements into procedures as they are identified
o Liaison for group with corporate BPR process re-design; assist in implementing proposed new processes and/or systems
o Liaison for group with Operational Forecasting; complete monthly reporting for capacity planning purposes; Forecast future growth and staff increases based on estimated volume and projections

summary of what we are seeking:
Aptitude for statistical analysis - Monthly reporting package for management; latitude in creation of reports
Ability to manage SOX reporting; deadlines - Coordinate testing of quarterly SOX documentation; ability to work with the 2 departments to ensure all documentation and results can be reported on timely & accurately.
Disbursement testing process - interaction with several other departments; need to be flexible with hours in order to meet deadlines, gain knowledge of "life of a loan" workflow.
Major system enhancements (key player) - Would play a major role in system overhaul/enhancement on an ongoing basis. Attend meeting w/ vendors; actively participate in discussions, etc.

Qualifications:
o Qualified candidates will possess strong time management and data analyzing skills
o Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
o Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment
o Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel (MS Access also desirable)

Previous Experience: Experience in lending industry preferred.
Education: BS/BA or equivalent and education loan knowledge preferred
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
