LOAN OPERATIONS sPECIALIST I



New South Federal Savings Bank has an opening in downtown Birmingham for an experienced administrative/financial professional.  A high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year?s office experience is required.  Ideal candidate will have some formal office skills training and previous auditing and payoff processing experience.  Must type 40 WPM, have filing and 10-key skills, excellent telephone technique, excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task.  Must have excellent organizational skills with willingness to work in a team environment.  Microsoft Office experience preferred.  Job functions include accurate data entry of loan applications, preparing and stuffing adverse action letters, calling on requested application verifications, sorting mail, completing new loan file audits, preparing payoff packages, completing new loan file copies for servicing, and other clerical duties as assigned.  Candidates must be able to move large number of files between first and second floor.  Some Saturdays and/or overtime may be required.  We offer business casual everyday, a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, and a great working environment.  If interested and qualified, fax resume to: (205) 951-1030 or email: recruiter@newsouthfederal.com EOE/M/F/D/V
