Lockbox Supervisor III

Required Skills:

 

Typically a minimum 1 - 3 years experience leading a client service function of 15-30 associates.  Track record of performance improvement in prior roles.  Track record of successfully partnering with internal and external clients and offering solutions.  Working knowledge of continuous improvement fundamentals.  Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks according to organizational goals.  Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with sales and product groups to meet the needs of clients.  Demonstrated capacity for and experience with technical and systems understanding.  Strong oral and written communication skills. Track record of forming a team, and motivating and developing associates.  Excellent client sensitivity skills. Superior leadership required: demonstrate relentless accountability, champion change and commit to ongoing and effective communication with the staff. Effectively uses telephone and communication skills. Maintains organizational and time management skills.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Reports to Department Manager. Full leadership responsibility for a group that performs the following functions:  mail sort, extraction, data entry, transmissions, faxes, reconcilement, packaging, check transport, and document transport operation. Manages workflow; manages and develops schedules that ensure complete coverage of department functions at all times. Coaches and counsels associates to meet production, quality, and service level agreements.  Keeps manager advised and provides feedback, as appropriate, of client service issues. Ensures proper training and cross training of associates to develop depth in the department. Creates and maintains efficient operating processes and practices through Continuous Improvement. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with peers, managers, internal and external clients to exceed their expectations. Interacts with and offers solutions to internal and external clients; communicates appropriately with clients; resolves client issues with leader?s guidance. Other duties as assigned.

 

Marginal Job Functions:

 

Contributes to Lockbox Services through project leadership roles.  Acts as a functional team member supporting production needs. Backs up manager as appropriate.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Prior lockbox or item processing experience

 

Training Provided:

 

Expectation of full functional knowledge after six months in position. Lockbox training curriculum as assigned.  TEDS classes as assigned. On the job training as necessary.
