MQ support administrator (Middleware)

 

One of the largest financial management firms in th world is seeking a MQ administrator.

 



* High-level Middleware experience one or more of the following ? MQ Series, MQSI, Candle Roma

* Knowledge of administration support of the above products is a must

*Extensive experience in a support role

* High-level Operating Systems skills (Linux, Windows or Unix)

* Scripting knowledge is a plus(e.g. Perl, Bash, TCL, etc...)

* Detailed architecture knowledge of the products

* Production support experience is a must

*Require some weekends and evenings support

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

* Responsibility for QA and production ongoing maintenance of a Middleware products

* Support production, C&R applications running on the Middleware infrastructure - including weekend/off hours support for production

 

 

DESIRED/MISCELLANEOUS:

* High-level system performance analysis

* Strong troubleshooting skills

* Technology adept

* Working knowledge of scheduling applications (e.g. Autosys) and backup applications (e.g Legato)

* Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of professional

* Good verbal and written communication skills

*Solutions engineering (design & implementation of messaging solutions) experience is also a plus.

*Knowledge on TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BW, staffware will be added advantage,etc

 

6 months or posibly longer contract.^
