Job Title:  Management Trainee

Receives Guidance and Direction From:  Chairman, President and Human Resources Manager

 

Position Description: 

The Management Trainee supports the Chairman and President in tasks of a wide variety ranging from strategic to tactical including project management as well as executive administration tasks.  The Management Trainee learns facets of the entire organization while supporting the Executives in a dynamic and highly powered environment and molding their individual career path with the company.  The incumbent manages a broad range of functions including reporting, process analysis, executive administration and participation on various teams for the execution of plans within a fast-paced environment. 

 

Fundamental Responsibilities:

Supports the Chairman and President in daily tasks.  Maintains accurate documentation for the Executives. Gathers information and creates and maintains various reports utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel functions when required.

 

Ensures efficient use of the Executive?s time by facilitating good time management practices in setting priorities and managing calendars and maintaining organization. Also includes making domestic and international travel arrangements when necessary.  Assures the integrity of the Executives and the company in this diverse role by maintaining confidentiality at all times.

 

Manages the office supply function to ensure availability and adherence with budget.  Plans and coordinates company events such as meetings and luncheons.  Acts as liaison with US Postal Service and courier services and distributes incoming mail.  Participates on various teams to execute plans and achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

Education and other credentials:

? College Degree- business-related major preferred.

? Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Specifically: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Experience:

? 2 year?s business experience supporting top level executives or other related experience.

? 2 years experience using Microsoft Office products.

? Experience in the finance and/or leasing industry a plus.

 

Technical/Functional skills and knowledge:

? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

? Knowledge of and ability to work on computers.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Regular office work with extensive use of the computer and telephone.Overtime may be required when necessary.
