To manage people, budgets, expenses, processes and tools to align and calibrate the organization’s technology deployment strategy with its business strategy; direct the development, implementation of technologies to support business objectives; participate in business technology planning, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems as related to the company’s competitive position; interact with customers to ensure their continuous satisfaction; ensure that rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices are followed; support and champion a culture of compliance, ensuring that compliance with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements takes place and change control and problem management procedures are followed.

 

Manages one or more teams (or a large-scale initiative, project, process, service, etc.) providing leadership, coaching and guidance to ensure that goals and objectives are met and individuals on the team work towards continuous improvement and development.

 

? Ensures that all relevant and required processes and procedures are followed.  Assures the presence of standards and procedures to support the information needs of the business in a flexible, efficient but secure environment

? Reviews recommendations regarding new technologies and processes.

?  Recommends strategies for acquiring, integrating, extending, customizing and eliminating technology.

?  Champions a culture of compliance, ensuring that compliance with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements takes place and change control and problem management procedures are followed.

?  Develops departmental business plans and assumes line responsibility for the successful implementation of these plans in an efficient and effective manner.

?  Participates in the preparation of key aspects of the strategic plans for senior management.

?  Makes budget recommendations for unit and monitors expenditures.

?  Monitor day-to-day service delivery to ensure that objectives are met.

?  Develops, maintains and strengthens relationships with key business partners to enable effective planning of new products and technology and ensure the delivery of service and value.

?  Organizes, plans, and monitors multiple activities, people, and resources.

?  May oversee multiple leads directly and their staff indirectly; oversees recommendations regarding promotion, salary, etc., for all leads reporting into them.

 

Conducts interviews and completes performance appraisals and development plans for all leads reporting to them.



? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or other related field.

? 8-10 or more years of experience IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

? Manages a function or multiple teams, delivering more than one service.

?  Works with business partners to identify opportunities to address longer-term business needs.
