As the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis you will oversee the team responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and financial support of Domestic field operations.  Individual will prepare, analyze and report on the domestic and international consolidation of the budget, forecast and actual vs. forecast activities. Manager will also analyze and report on key performance measures in order to establish/monitor individual center and overall company performance.

 

Some specific responsibilities include: quarterly forecast and monthly review of forecast results; proactively monitor center performance and identify issues with the operations; recommend cost savings or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies; motivate and develop staff to ensure high employee retention, succession planning and career development.  Support to VP Assistant Treasury in preparation of LT planning analysis and reporting.  Manager will also develop appropriate metrics and financial analyses for extended budget/forecast to assist in assessment of long-term direction of current and prospective lines of business, types of operating unit models, and other issues around long-term planning.

 

Qualifications include: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field: CPA and/or MBA preferred. 8-12 years of experience in Accounting / FP&A; previous experience in developing and operating financial models; firm understanding of accounting concepts and experience with accounting information systems; Operations Finance experience preferred;Previous supervisory experience required; departmental responsibility preferred.Detail and process-oriented; able to analyze current processes, define and implement improvement Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable commercial and strategic recommendations. Very customer-focused; able to provide best-in-class service to our internal customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Continuous improvement attitude; ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices. Strong time-management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams and build consensus.Ability to multi-task and contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
