We are seeking a candidate with 5 years experience in back office operations with a focus on domestic settlement issues including security lending. Individual will manage 5 people within a growing department. Duties will include:
Identify, measure, and control operational processes as required for US settlements business. Provide operational support for confirmation and settlement of cash trades and related borrow/loan transactions. Enforce proper audit control to minimize financial risk. Monitor and balance security position inventory using an internal database system. Liaison between trading desks and counterparties regarding trade issues and other account activities in a timely fashion. Manage outstanding fail issues with counterparties and in accordance with Reg. SHO rules. Monitor both collateral and fee counterparty exposures and assist in daily processing of domestic mark to markets with counterparties accordingly. Firm understanding of US trade activity and process flows as related to US clearing and financing business including settlement systems and external clearing corporations. Manage trade processes in accordance with established operations policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as required
