Market Supervisor

Reporting to the Manager of the Monitoring Desk, the Market Supervisor monitors trading sessions and offers a broad range of customer support services within the Market Operations Centre ('MOC').

Market Supervisors have wide competence and responsibilities in the following areas: integrity of the daily trading cycle, handling customer orders, identifying technical bugs, and processing trader?s phone calls. Additionally, Market Supervisors gather statistical data and carry out various market research / analysis tasks for the Boston Options Exchange ('BOX') Management.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

BA in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent experienceComputer literacy and excellent mathematic / analytical skillsKnowledge of MS Office suite (particularly Excel, Access, Outlook)No trading experience is required, however a basic knowledge of financial markets and options is a plusProgramming / Database experience is a plusHighly motivated graduates / ?first jobbers? welcome to apply
