Marketing Manager

Cohen & Steers is a manager of high-income equity portfolios, specializing in U.S. REITs, international real estate securities, preferred stocks, utilities and large cap value stocks. Headquartered in New York City, the firm serves individual and institutional investors through a wide range of open-end funds, closed-end funds and separate accounts.  We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager.  The marketing manager assists the SVP of marketing communications with the development and creation of a wide range of sales and educational materials for all Cohen & Steers products, business channels and for the firm in general.  Working closely with management and all areas of the firm, the marketing manager will be responsible for developing new materials and updating existing content and product information. Will work closely with internal and external writers and designers as well as with all print and direct mail vendors to manage projects through all phases of their development, and will ensure error free execution of all initiatives.  Will develop project plans, manage project timelines, liaise with all areas of the firm, and ensure deliverable dates are met. Will also be responsible for coordinating the review process of marketing materials among internal executives and legal department and the NASD. 

 

Must be highly organized and have experience managing or coordinating production workflows in a financial services organization. Must be highly personable and able to work with all areas of the company. Excellent organization and project management skills. Good writing skills; Bachelors degree (MBA a plus); Series 6 or 7 license helpful7 to 15 years experience in financial services preferred.
