Marketing Manager - Bank Deposit Accounts

The mission of Charles Schwab Bank is to provide the best in banking services to investors. The Liability Products management team is responsible for creating the vision for the customer experience; developing profitable deposit products and enhanced services that foster increased loyalty and contribution from our current clients and new client segments; managing the growth of our client base; driving profit improvement and revenue growth through sales channels, marketing programs, and cost controls; developing customer communication programs; and tracking and measuring product performance and program effectiveness.


 


The Manager, Deposit Accounts Product Management manages product development and client facing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Deposit Accounts Product Management, this individual manages standalone savings and checking products, and supports Schwab Bank Investor Checking. This individual should have solid project management and client communication management skills. Responsibilities will include:


• Tracking and measuring product results.


• Developing partnerships across functional/enterprise lines to achieve objectives and address business issues.


• Leading cross-functional teams.


• Managing timelines.


• Working with Bank and Brokerage Compliance and Legal departments to ensure that regulatory and legal requirements are met.


• Review status and make improvements to client-facing communications and supporting processes.


 


•Bachelors degree or equivalent and 5+ years related experience or Masters degree followed by 2+ years experience in marketing, marketing analysis, product marketing, product development, research, sales, collateral production or consulting


• Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate viewpoint of the bank with peers and up to director level management in other areas


• Strong analytical skills


• Ability to develop and articulate business requirements


• Strong customer focus, including ability to think in terms of customer experience/perspective


• Effective project management skills


• PC proficiency


 


Project management experience, Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and Ability to understand technical issues in a business context.
