Responsibilities/Position Summary:

Join 4-person team of Marketing Relationship Managers serving as regional strategists to the field, providing marketing advice/guidance to regional/divisional management teams.  Plan/ execute/track integrated marketing programs aligned with the regional business plan objectives.

 

This individual is responsible for understanding the goals of GPC Advisory and Marketing groups and identifying and supporting local opportunities that drive client acquisition, retention and penetration within one of four Advisory Divisions.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

?  Establish/maintain consultative partnerships with division and regional management teams?  Consult with regions in developing marketing plans to support their business objectives

?  Understand the market environment, business challenges and opportunities, local management priorities, and related marketing implications

?  Recommend appropriate tactics within a relationship marketing model to establish presence, localize the brand, deepen relationships and build customized solutions to capitalize on internal and external local opportunities

?  Conduct outreach/training to broaden the awareness and increase usage of Marketing programs and initiatives

 

?  Provide strategy and recommend process for implementation of marketing programs linked to specific business objectives

?  Align marketing programs with high-return FA segments

?  Engage local and internal resources to execute marketing programs

?  Ensure plan for follow-up/measurement is in effect

?  Drive the adoption of best practices marketing efforts in the fieldQualifications:


Minimum Requirements:

Candidate should be a strategically focused professional with exceptionally strong relationship building skills.  In addition, the candidates should be:

?  Innovative and creative ? able to champion new ideas and initiatives 

?  A Strong analytical thinker - able to draw insights and implications from market data

?  A Confident decision-maker ? able to interact with, challenge and persuade all levels of field management

?    Self-motivated? takes personal ownership for getting things done

?  Team player ? fosters collaboration within Marketing and across the entire organization

Ideal candidate will possess:

?  At least five years of broad experience in strategic marketing within the financial services industry

?  Excellent presentation, communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

?  Solutions-oriented, results-focused approach, with a demonstrated ability to deliver business-building results

?  Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

?  Ability to travel ~25% of time

?  College degree, ideally in Business or Marketing, Masters/MBA preferred Series 7 licensed preferred
