Job Description: Looking for an entry position into Mortgage Banking? Join our Post Closing team! We are seeking and individual to perform the following-

Reviews executed closing documents for accuracy and to insure compliance with loan program guidelines,underwriting requirements, state and federal lending laws and state and local bond program requirements.

Review HUD-1 Settlement Statement for accuracy.

Prepare package of documents required by Loan Servicing for loan set up.

Prepare documents and loan file for sale to investors.

Prepare case binder for submission to FHA or VA for insuring.

Reconcile checks received from settlement agents and prepare accounting forms.
Correspond with settlement agent, processors and closers to obtain documentation necessary to complete the loan file.

Maintain databases of closing issues for tracking and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

At least one year of Mortgage Experience in Processing, Closing or Post Closing.

Familiarity with computers.

Detailed oriented.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
