Mortgage Wholesale Closing Coordinator

Job Description: Looking for an entry position into Wholesale Mortgage Banking? Join our Wholesale Mortgage team! We are seeking and individual to perform the following:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

?The primary purpose of the Closing Coordinator is to coordinate the loan closing between Chevy Chase Bank and the Settlement Agent/Attorney and Broker.
?Coordinate with the Settlement Agent/Attorney and Broker the receipt of documents we need to prepare the closing papers.
?Review the closing documents for certain items prior to sending the file to the Closer.
?Responsible for helping make refinance calls and taking over flow calls for scheduling loans.
?Draft and/or edit correspondences, memos, letters, reports, etc.
?Special projects and other duties as assigned by management.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS::

?One year of general office and/or customer service experience.
?Previous Mortgage experience a plus.
?Ability to interact with the public and internal team members.
?Excellent organizational skills.
?Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
?Attention to detail and problem solving abilities are essential.
?Ability to work independently and in a team.
?Ability to meet tight deadlines
?Flexibility and interest in cross-training duties.
?Knowledge of MS Office products.
?Ability to prioritize and reprioritize multiple tasks as needed.
