New Account Administrator

Purpose and ScopeThe primary responsibility for this position is to open all new accounts on internal databases via workstation applications along with updating Pershing custodian database ensuring client information integrity from it?s starting point at Lockwood.

?Job ResponsibilitiesSort, distribute and process daily incoming new account paperwork receivedReview new account paperwork for accuracy, run an Equifax credit checks report and have signed/approved by Compliance Dept.Process new account orders thru internal OAO and Power Page systems and verify data postedUpdate and maintain new account information in the Central Data Base (CDB)Process custodial updates for new account opening and maintenanceAct as backup for cashier function of incoming checks and stock certificatesParticipate in weekly team meetings held by managerComplete Pershing required job performance review both individually and with manager

Required Experiences and Skills

Education and Training:BA/BS required, business-related college degree preferred1-3 years of financial services experience preferredSeparately managed accounts experience a plus

Other Requirements:Excellent organizational skills requiredSolid typing and data entry skills requiredAbility to prioritize, work with set deadlines and proven attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work well in a team environment

Location and Travel/Hours

This position is located in Malvern, PA and requires no travel at this time.? This is a full time, non-exempt position.? The hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
