OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - Financial Services

The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the departmental systems group in development of operational solutions to improve business processes. Primary responsibilities will include:  reconciliation of data, analysis of complex situations, identification of issues and implementation of solutions.  He/she will also serve as an internal liaison between Investment Operations and Trading, Sales, Communications, IT as well as the firm?s foreign offices, the fund Transfer Agent, consultants, custodians and brokers. 

 

Three types of Coordinators needed:

* One bilingual (Spanish) with the Series 7 and 24. (4-7 years experience)

* One knowledgable of database programming and spreadsheet programs, including Excel. (2-3 years experience)

* One knowledgable of setlements and interacting with transfer agents, custodians and brokers. (1-2 years experience)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

? Reconcile data issues related to client accounts/reports/returns

? Analyze complex operational issues to identify problems and offer solutions

? Perform general account maintenance

? Respond to special requests from clients, banks, trust companies, broker/dealers, and service providers

? Provide coverage for other members of department (including opening of new accounts and trade coordination)
