Operational Risk Reporting Specialist
Job Description Power User responsible for supporting Operational Risk reporting needs. Develop and prepare Operational Risk reports for a variety of audiences including Corporate Risk Management, Line Management, Management Committee and the Board of Directors. Participate in the project management of various efforts within the Corporate Operational Risk Group.
Experience
5 years analytical and/ or technical Operational Risk Management and/or business intelligence report development. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. Experience with decision support tools, ad hoc reporting, using relational database systems, and Oracle SQL.
Knowledge & Skill
? In depth knowledge of data warehousing/ data marts/ database principles. Skills in reporting against databases such as, MS Access, Crystal Reports, Cognos ReportNet etc.
? Listening and problem solving skills required to translate business requirements into reports. Analytical skills required to evaluate current processes and identify improvement opportunities. Report development skills using business intelligence systems such as Cognos or Business Objects.
Major Duties
? Participate in project management team implementing Operational Risk Reporting system.
? Work with business user to define report requirements and translate users? report requirements to develop/ deliver meaningful static and ad hoc risk reports.
? Use business intelligence tool to develop and provide maintenance for the core set of operational risk reports.
? Analyze SQL statements and troubleshoot to determine why business intelligence tool is not producing required results and modify to resolve issues.
? Coordinate and/or performs activities of designated Operational Risk Group initiatives.
? Provide consulting assistance to Operational Risk Group and other end users to familiarize partners with reports.
? Maintain library of reports, recipients, and delivery schedule.
? Identify and implement opportunities for improvements within the Operational Risk Reporting process.
