Operations Analyst

Credit Suisse's Center of Excellence in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina continues to expand and is looking for finance and accounting professionals for the following:

 

Overview of Role   

Exciting entry-level Financial Services Operations role at Credit Suisse's growing Center of Excellence in Research Triangle Park!

We are currently recruiting candidates for immediate openings through September 5, 2006. All new hires must be available to committ to full attendance during the training program in Research Triangle Park.

Credit Suisse Operations department is responsible for ensuring that all transactions are processed, settled and confirmed in a timely and accurate manner, in adherence with all regulatory requirements. In addition, Operations ensures all client accounts are properly serviced and reconciled. Operations support all business areas within Credit Suisse including Corporate & Investment Banking, Fixed Income, Equities, Private Client Services, Asset Management and Private Equity.

Multiple openings exist in several departments within Operations.

Main Duties/Responsibilities of the Role   

Communicate with all other Operations Groups
Interact with Sales and Trading to provide general information in response to inquiries
Document daily activity and identify exceptions that occur
Maintain reconciliation reports as needed
Organize and prioritize workload
Accurate preparation of required documentation using automated applications
Continuous submission of ideas for the improvement of existing processes and procedures   

             

Skills and Experience   

REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
Proficient in use of Microsoft Word
Able to perform in high pressure environment
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Team player (displays enthusiasm, confidence & commitment)
Effective communication ability (verbal & written)
Ability to work independently
Good time management skills

DESIRED SKILLS
Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook
MS Access or Excel database tracking

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
Work experience in a professional environment
Investment Banking experience a plus
Accounting & audit experience desired

EDUCATION
Associates Degree or working towards a degree
Bachelor?s Degree (a plus)
