Operations Analyst 4

Job Description: Join Wells Capital Management as an Operations Analyst on the Client Reporting team. Position is primarily responsible for supporting the generation, delivery, and maintenance of ad-hoc, monthly, and quarterly reporting for clients and internal investment professionals. The Client Reporting team is comprised of five team members (1 manager and 4 analysts) and partners with the accounting, portfolio operations, technology, and portfolio/relationship management teams to meet the reporting needs of our clients. A key aspect of this role involves balancing the incoming ad-hoc reporting requests with the ongoing production processes and making sure that requestors stay informed of relevant delivery and issue status and accurate reports are delivered on time. Initial focus of this role will be the day-to-day support of reporting processes including the setup of new accounts, scheduling of reporting jobs, analysis of exception reports, review of final reports, and the delivery of reports to end users and our website. However, we expect this role to develop into a resource that can help refine reporting processes, troubleshoot exceptions with other operations teams, and maintain detailed documentation as necessary.


Minimum Qualifications: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral), be a self-starter, and quick to pick up new concepts and skills. Must have good time management skills, the ability to work through new issues and challenges, and work under time deadlines. Must be dedicated to providing the highest quality service and understand the importance of providing accurate reporting to valuable clients. Must have the ability to look at manual processes, suggest improvements, and participate in projects related to client reporting. Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word. Must be willing to learn various internal systems in order to set-up and schedule reports.


Preferred Skills: 4 year degree. Experience working with Accounting concepts and principals. Understanding of Investment business, processes, terminology, and instruments.
