Order Processing and Billing Specialist

SUMMARY: E*TRADE FINANCIAL Corporate Services is responsible for selling a comprehensive suite of products and services directly to corporations and employees of corporations to help manage the complexities of stock-based compensation plans. The solution meets both the financial reporting needs of the corporation and allows employees to access their stock-based compensation and transact through our specialized Web and call-center based brokerage services.

 

The Order Processing & Billing Specialist is responsible for the smooth processing of medium-volume but complex sales orders in support of a corporate sales and account management organization.  This

Individual is also responsible for processing the monthly and annual billing of corporate clients, along with supporting sales and marketing in the maintenance of customer information in an enterprise-class CRM system, including the generation of recurring and ad hoc reports. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Order Processing
Responsible for handling order processing for all new software sales and software bundle upgrades from existing customers. 
Updating of all required customer information (for product usage, contact info, etc.) in an enterprise-class CRM system
Report generation and submission to accounting/billing department
Responsible for managing shipping request submission to a third-party fulfillment vendor

 

? Billing

o  Process billing for annual software maintenance

o  Process billing for monthly administration, consulting and training fees

o  Reconcile with Accounting to make sure billing system is up to date and accurate

o  Handles billing inquires from clients in conjunction with Accounting

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of payroll/billing or related support experience. 
Experience in a sales culture within the financial services industry is strongly preferred
College education (BA/BS) in Business or related field preferred
Ability to quickly learn and become highly proficient with an enterprise-class CRM system 
Ability to easily interact with a demanding group of sales, sales support, account management, legal and accounting team members, appropriately juggling requests from different individuals if necessary
Ability to prioritize work items based on business requirements, and effectively escalate issues when and where appropriate 
Proficiency with MS Office products, CRM systems, Oracle financial application and other sales and back-office support systems
Accurate and dependable work ethics and work style
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and an upbeat, results-focused attitude
