PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SPECIALIST

Series 7, 63, and 55 securities licenses required

 

The Professional Services Specialist is expected to have extensive internal product knowledge, cross product proficiency and a broad understanding of recent market structure events and upcoming regulatory changes. You will be provided training on the UNX product suite and will be then expected to master all UNX trading products and respond to customer inquiries on product functionality.  The ProServices specialist will proactively consult with assigned partners, clients and prospects to maximize his or her knowledge and use of UNX products and services; provide in-depth product expertise & tailored product demonstrations of any component of the UNX product suite; initiate, facilitate and participate in client integrations and will execute client upgrade process; and facilitate product development requirements as examples of responsibilities.
 
To be considered, you must have the licenses defined above along with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Candidates must have strong understanding of financial markets, specifically US equities in an institutional environment.  Minimum of 3 years experience in securities trading essential; solid experience using, selling or supporting electronic/direct access trading platforms required. Strong negotiation, organization, analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Experience with client integrations, including FIX protocol in a financial services environment, highly desirable but not required.

We are looking for well developed communications and influencing skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; must be able to negotiate around points of disagreement and have the willingness to see and accept others' views and must be personable and able to work with people of different disciplines.  Significant travel may be required.
