PeopleSoft Financials Test Lead
Upgrade project in McLean, VA needs a PeopleSoft Senior PeopleSoft Test Lead to support the client's upgrade initiatives and future application support needs. The upgrade is for the client's PeopleSoft Financials Suite (General Ledger, Project Costing, Payables, Purchasing, Expenses, CLAS) and components (ARMR, eReq, SAMS, STAR, CRA) from version 8.4 to 8.9. This is a 6 month long project with possibility of extensions.
This position will lead and coordinate PeopleSoft 8.9 upgrade 8.9 testing effort; should be expert in the following modules: GL, Supply Chain, Projects, STAT; should possess Lead experience in PeopleSoft financial apps and upgrade. This position will be responsible for leading the design implementation, execution, and evaluation of a wide range of system and integration tests and to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards for PeopleSoft financial upgrade release. This individual will document the upgrade process and provide management reporting to PM's and Director as required; be a testing services liaison for the entire release; Coordinate test execution and lead the staff; work with functional teams and schedule testing timelines.
Job requirements include:
- PeopleSoft Financials testing experience - Releases 8.4, 8.8, or 8.9
- Strong experience with following modules: GL, Supply Chain, Projects and STAT
- Strong communication skills and systems development lifecycle knowledge
- Experienced in developing test plans and strategy for upgrade project
- Good knowledge of STAT
