We are currently searching for a Plastics Fraud Analyst?to work with our Member Services Support department in our Lenexa, Kansas corporate office.

?

General Description:

This position will be responsible for receiving and analyzing fraud trends with regard to the plastics programs ? debit and credit cards; signature and pin transactions.? In addition, this position will assist the credit union in implementing best practices, with a strong focus on identifying resources internally and externally to assist in the reduction of loss as it relates to the plastics programs.

Principle Accountabilites:

1.? Review and evaluate fraud alerts as they are received for all plastics issued by the Credit Union in a timely and effective

???? manner.

2.? Work with key vendors to implement best practices and develop reporting processes that allow for trend analysis and

???? reporting.

3.? Responsible for the overall execution of the fraud claim process to include timely processing and submission of loses to

???? CUNA mutual.

4.??Ensure timely recognition of fraud loss expenses and timely follow-up and resolution of pending fraud items.?

5.???Partner with CUNA mutual to ensure contractual requirements are implemented to receive proper reimbursement of fraud

???? claims submitted.

6.???Build a standard process that will address exposure issues created through the daily operations of the card program and

???? address those through procedure changes and/or creation of new processes or procedures.

7.???Establish a regular report and/or methodology to communicate to management on the status of fraud loss with the

?????plastics programs.

8.?? Professional and friendly interaction with members and staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1.????? Strong knowledge of plastics card processing and procedures and practices.

2.????? Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally in a tactful and helpful manner.

3.????? Ability to work independently and on a team.

4.????? Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, objectives, and deadlines.

5.????? Ability to take the initiative and be flexible and adaptable.

6.????? Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Educational/Experience Requirments:

Bachelor?s Degree plus three or more years related experience is preferred.? Seven or more years extensive experience working with plastics card processing and processing disputes, fraud claims and merchant charge backs can be substituted for a degree.
