Portfolio Analyst ? Marketing & Sales

Rochdale Investment Management is a private investment management firm headquartered in New York City. We invest globally for a nationwide client base of high net worth individuals. Our focus is on sound investment advice coupled with superior service to satisfy our client relationships. This position is for our New York City office.



As a Portfolio Analyst you will be responsible for a variety of activities including but not limited to:

?  The creation and generation of proposals and customized analysis for prospective clients and existing clients;

?  Communicating with clients, prospective clients and their advisors in the course of providing the highest degree of service;

?  Preparation of customized reports and analysis for existing clients and their advisors provided as part of the normal client review process;

?  Provide training on the Rochdale website to advisors and clients;

?  Master the use and applications of the technology used in the proposal and portfolio management processes.



This will include mastery of the Rochdale?s proprietary asset allocation software, Principia Pro, Axys, and the Barra Aegis database.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and enthusiasm to take on initiatives independently. You should be team oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Additional requirements include:



?  Bachelor degree in finance or related field required;

?  1-2 years of related industry experience;

?  Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel;

?  Presentation and communication skills;

?  Problem solving skills;

?  Ability to work independently and embrace responsibility;

?  Strong analytical skills;

?  Excellent grammar and writing skills;

?  intelligence and creativity;

?  Detail oriented;

?  CFA in progress, or strong desire to initiate studies a definite plus.
