Rochdale Investment Management is a private investment management firm located in midtown Manhattan.  We invest globally for a nationwide client base of high net worth individuals.  Our focus is on sound investment advice and superior service to satisfy our client relationships. 

 

As a Portfolio Management Associate you will work directly with a Portfolio Manager responsible for several hundred million dollars in high net worth client assets. To that extent, you will be responsible for a variety of activities including, but not limited to:

 

? The creation and generation of proposals and customized analysis for prospective clients;

? Preparation of customized reports and analysis for existing clients and their advisors provided as part of the normal client review process;

? Communicating with clients, prospective clients and their advisors in the course of providing the highest degree of service;

? Scheduling of regular client reviews with the client, advisor and Rochdale portfolio manager;

? Trading and strategic rebalancing accounts;

? Mastering the technology used in the proposal, portfolio management and research processes.

 

The ideal candidate should be career focused, possess strong analytical skills, and have the enthusiasm to take on initiatives independently.  You should be team oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Additional requirements include:

 MBA preferredMinimum of 1 year experience within the financial services industryStrong client services skillsProficient in Word, PowerPoint, ExcelPresentation and communication skillsProblem solving skillsExcellent grammar and writing skillsDetail orientedAbility to influence people and gather information
