Presentation and RFP Specialist
Job Overview:
Work with key investment professionals and various departments to develop PowerPoint presentations and related print materials for each portfolio manager?s yearly presentations, and the chief economist?s semi-annual presentations, to the Advisors/W&R Target and Ivy Funds boards. Create/update Fund Fact Sheets for investment products. Create presentations to shareholders and professional groups for use by the CIO and portfolio managers. In addition, work with Institutional Sales Support Specialists to coordinate and write responses to RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires. This position has firm and frequent deadlines, so organizational skills and attention to detail are important.
Responsibilities:
? Work with portfolio managers (and chief economist if scheduled) to develop their presentations and carry through to final product.
? Through frequent interaction with key investment professionals, senior management legal, operations, and sales and marketing professionals, research and coordinate data, including product research when needed, for presentations and RFPs/RFIs.
? Coordinate with Economic Analyst to gather data used in graphing and verify accurate setup of charts.
? Develop responses for RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires, by gathering, compiling, and verifying product information.
? Insure accuracy of presentation text by reading for content and proofreading.
? Distribute final presentation documents to Legal department.
? Set up and maintain tracking systems.
? Work professionally as a team player, initiating innovative ideas and creative approaches to help increase the efficiency and further the goals of the department.
? Be available for overtime when needed to meet deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Bachelor?s degree required. Courses of study in finance, economics and business are helpful.Candidates who have worked in an investment environment strongly desired.Strong PC skills, including the proficient use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience with desktop publishing software such as InDesign preferred.Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities.Self-starter, ability to work independently.Analytical experience and aptitude.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects within set and moving deadlines.Solid writing skills, including use of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Good proofreading skills to catch own errors and errors of others in materials.
