Pricing Analyst
Our aerospace client, located in Menlo Park is in need of Financial Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide the assigned proposal teams with costing, pricing research, analysis, and recommendations
* Provide the assigned proposal teams with spending authorization and control budgets
* Support teams with customer proposal fact finding, audits, and negotiations
* Provide input to the long term financial forecasts (orders, sales, headcount)
* Measure project performance, report results, and explain variances to plan/forecast in a narrative format weekly or monthly
* Analysis for the monthly overhead spending review
* Support business tool improvements, including the proposal database, the resource model, costing model, and the proposal-pricing model
Desired Experience
* 5 to 10 years of related experience* College degree
* Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookup tables, graphics, log curves)
* Familiarity to database applications and project management software a plus
* Experience in the defense contracting industry and manufacturing a plus
