Private Banking Office I-IV

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, customer relations and new business development; periodic review of existing loan commitments; acting as the bank's agent with respect to advising the client as to proper loan structure; negotiating acceptable terms for the bank and customer simultaneously even when goals conflict; selling the bank's credit and non-credit products. You will also be responsible for increasing bank profitability by providing high quality customer service and cultivating new business relationships while maintaining/protecting Comerica's business interests.

To qualify, a Bachelor's degree and 1-6 years of commercial or private lending experience are required (major in Accounting and Finance preferred), as well as a successful completion of an extensive credit-training program. A strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics and money market conditions is also required. You must be conversant in the basics of corporate banking and credit and non-credit products, trust, real estate and other bank functions, which promote the posture of a full service Private Lending Officer.
