A private equity firm focused on buying small cap companies with revenues typically ranging from $10 million to 100 million is seeking an associate to join the two founding partners. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to participate in all aspects of a private equity firm and to work closely with, and to learn from the firm?s experienced founding partners.The firm is currently making investments from its first fund. This is a partner track position.

Experience / Education

-  3+ years of preparing financial models

-  3+ years of analyzing businesses

-  3+ years of industry research

-  Preferred backgrounds include private equity, investment banking, accounting firm due diligence, m&a or valuation groups, consulting firm, or corporate development experience.

-  Graduate of a top tier university is a positive
