Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist   We are looking for a highly motivated, highly energized candidate who is willing to go the extra mile.  We will train the right person for job responsibilities.

 

This position is responsible for the following:

 

? Assuring timely and accurate preparation of purchase orders, releases, quotations and contracts.

? Developing and administering Request for Proposals for various products/services, analyzing the responses and leading the cross functional team in the negotiation process.

? Developing and administering electronic reverse auctions.

? Negotiating, executing and the administering E*TRADE contracts ($250K and under) including but not limited to, Corporate Services, Marketing, Facilities, Services and Technology. 

? Identifying and managing the selection of suppliers capable of meeting E*TRADE?s needs, leveraging the volumes across business units and negotiating the most cost-effective and efficient contract terms and conditions for E*TRADE.

? Interfacing with the appropriate managers to develop the necessary requirements (current and forecasted), specifications and performance terms, etc.

? Providing benchmark data and competitive advantage information to be utilized in negotiations.

? Thoroughly understanding and having adequate experience in utilizing both Ariba requisitioning and Oracle Financial systems.

? Working knowledge of Excel and Access as it relates to spend analytics, pivot tables and data manipulation.


This position requires a BA degree and some professional work experience.  Recent graduates will be considered.
