Product Controller - Credit Derivatives

Job Responsibilities:
The key responsibility of the team is to explain the change the value in the desks portfolio on a daily basis into its relevant explain categories and on a monthly basis reconcile the sub ledges to the general ledger. Team is also responsible for mark to market testing of the portfolio. Team interfaces with the key traders on the desk & members of risk on a daily basis to obtain agreement with on the daily P&L number.Team will also have regular exposure to senior CFO managers to explain new trades / P&L. The candidate would be responsible as the interface of the CFO organization on the trading desk to understand, control, evaluate and educate (other Finance members) and new exotic products.Qualifications:
BA in Finance or Accounting. A team player with a high level of self motivation and excellent communications skills. Strong accounting and financial understanding, with at a minimum, basic understanding of risk based P&L decomposition. Have worked in the banking dealing with credit derivative products on a risk or P&L explain basis preferable for longer than 18 months.
