We currently have a position open for a Product Development Manager in our Parsippany NJ location.

Summary of Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for leading product development initiatives within the NYLIM RPS. Product development includes new marketing initiatives, improvements to existing processes and new features for existing customers.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
' Assists in the product development/product rollout process, primarily as a technical expert. Using broad product and operational knowledge, facilitates the resolution of complex issues by coordinating the marketing, sales, administrative and systems issues.
' Establishes product underwriting guidelines and policies.
' Identifies and helps to prioritize product enhancements/modifications to keep the current products competitive.
' Provides in-depth analysis of requirements and/or tasks to be addressed in implementing product features or product changes (e.g., what are the quickest and best ways for us to provide x.)
' Provides support to the VP of Product Development and other members of the Senior Management team by defining or scoping out the details of a proposed product feature or change.

Requirements:
' At least 2 years experience in retirement plan business.
' Solid knowledge of investment principles and practices.
' Good project management skills.
' Strong negotiation skills.
' Strong oral and written communications
