Product Marketing Strategist

Job Description: A Product Manager 4 position is available on the Consumer Credit Group's Product Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing Home Equity product marketing strategies to acquire and build customer relationships. This includes product positioning and performance metrics on pricing, profitability and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
? Help develop and champion CCG's customer value proposition by dimensioning the relationship of Product to Price and Service, and applying this to CCG prioritization and decision-making.
? Develop competitive positioning strategy and marketing language to guide all product communications.
? Formulate product selection strategies across different sales channels.
? Synthesize product performance metrics specially portfolio profitability. Set product performance goals and
maintain business rationale for each product.
? Monitor customer experience for each product and represent customers' and sales/service teams' voices on
product needs.
? Identify and assess market opportunities for new product entries and influence conceptualization.
? Support integrated marketing programs such as product bundling or packaging.
? Manage the product naming conventions.
? Support product improvement initiatives as well as product retirement to streamline our portfolio. Present findings and recommendations to change management partners and senior mgmt teams.


Minimum Qualifications: ? Undergraduate degree required
? 10+ years experience in consumer marketing, product management, or a related field
? Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to succeed in a
collaborative environment via partnership building and influence leadership.
? Honed strategic thinking skills, with ability to understand and manage numerous
projects and details within stringent deadlines.
? Proven analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable
recommendations.
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced/high energy environment and change priorities/directions quickly
? Strong sense of entrepreneurship to champion the success of assigned products.
? High-calibre presentation skills demonstrating clarity of thought.


Preferred Skills: . MBA desirable
. Experience in home equity or mortgage marketing
. Classical product management discipline
. Exposure to sales environment
. Prior consulting experience a plus
